Things at the gym that make me smile...some kinds of smiles are differant than others

1.-When people excessively grunt just so those around can hear that they are working out
2.-Some of the business men have permanent sock lines
3.-When someone gets the highest amount of weight they can just to lift it once
4.-Really white people go tanning for the first time for 10 minutes...they come out looking like a lobster
5.-Some of these people do more sitting looking at other people than doing their own lifting
6.-Mirror-lickers....im new to this term but these are the people who love to stand by a mirror at all times so they can look at how fine their chiseled body looks when they lift.
7.-Several times a day i will see people look around to make sure no one is looking then flex in the mirror or lift their shirt to flex....those people would often be mirror-lickers
8.-There is a particular man that makes me smile....he will get on one of the bikes put in his headphones and play the air-drums very enthusiastically. He makes those around him smile as well.
9.-Already am knowing people by the noises that they make...grunting, a dragging foot, a stupid laugh...
10.-When men are wider than they are tall
11.-When people use their membership only for the tanning
12.-When women look normal from behind then they turn and they are 8 months pregnant...this makes me simile in a "im very proud of you" way
13.-Some bring their "assistant" to help them lift....Ha ha ha....that is just stupid
14.-When men for get something on the other side of the locker room and they have to walk past the door in their panties...this smile would be a "ha ha that sucks" kind of a smile
15.-When men say they are only joining the gym to see me....this is a "im creeped out" smile....he was ugly anyway
16.-One man comes in and he looks like Richard Simmons. He even dresses like him
17.-When people collide at corners.
18.-The really old people make me smile
19.-People actually use the elevator!!

Two big things!!

1.) So I am now the newest employee at Planet Fitness. Im really enjoying my new job. Normally it takes me a few days if not a few weeks to really like a new job. When im at work i do a lot of cleaning and working at the front desk, which are two things that i really dont mind. But what really helps me like my job is that the people that i work with are fun people. Most of them enjoy their job and they are just very pleasant to be around. Today i was even invited into a clique. I know Im cool.

2.) I GOT MY COMPUTER BACK!! I had taken my computer to be worked on a few weeks before i left and i just got it back yesterday after work. It was annoying that i didnt have it for so long but the Geek Squad was great to work with. They bent over back words to do things right and to have it sent from Missouri to Maine. Plus my $600+ bill was FREE. AND i had my info. on my computer backed up which was supposed to be $100....the guy never charged me.
Thanks Geek Squad!!

Im Here!!

Hello Xanga world!!

I have made it to Maine. I have been here for about a week and all is going well so far. Mom and Dad just left on saturday but we had a great time together. The only part that is not working out well so far is that i havent found a job yet. I have tried a few different places but im going to really hit it hard today.

It is so good to be back with the kids. It is like i never left except that Will grew so much. When i left he had just learned to sit up well. Now he is crawling all over the place and pulling up on things.

Also whithin the first week of being here a hurricane hit Maine. That hasnt happend for 17 years!!

I know that i have said this a few times before BUT i really mean it this time. I am really going to try to post more on xanga. Now that im so far away (and this time i have a computer) i really want to keep all of you updated. So in return i would love it if all of you (expecially mom and kat) would keep up the posting. And what i love the most are the pictures.

Ok that is all for now. Hopefully next time i post i will  get to tell you about the great new job that i have.

I Love It Here!!!

I am having such a great time here! It has been everything that i had expected and so much more. Yesterday I got to go to Boston and i have to go back tomorrow. I have had a blast just roaming around Boston and just doing what i want to do. In the morning me and one of the other nannies are taking a train from Boston to Wells, ME to meet up with the rest of the staff and taking a bus back to Oxford. It has been so nice being here in Boston because i only get a day off every 12 days. I love what i do but im normally really ready for a break. Here are a few pictures of the summer and my short time in Boston.

Here is me and my baby boy. He is 6 months now!! He is so sweet.

This is not the best picture of her but i think she looks so cute my boots.

I thought he needed to have a boot picture too.

This is the 6 year old that we also look after. We got to go berry picking that day.

Here i am rockin' the Boston Red Sox hat and the best slice of pizza.

I just really liked this hat.

Im Moving!!!!.....well for the summer.

I have been given the wonderful opportunity to live at a camp in Maine!!! These are the two beautiful children i will get to play with all summer. I am so so so excited!! This job brings my favorite things all into one great summer. First of all i LOVE camp and have really missed going the past few years. Second of all I LOVE playing and taking care of little ones. I will get to be outside and get so many opportunities to learn new things.

You may wonder how I got this job....let me tell you.
Well to start out i really didnt want to stay on campus for another summer and work landscaping for 40 hours then go to a second job. That was exhausting and i really missed my summer. So i was trying to think of an alternative job but nothing would pay enough for me to move off campus. So i heard my friend Rachel's sister Hannah (whom im also friends with) is a nanny in Colorado for a baby boy. At first i thought oh that sounds like fun but not a reality. But the more i got to thinking the more i got interested. So i got a hold of Hannah and i asked how she got hooked up with her family. She gave me the websites that she had used and i made a "nanny profile"..........ok i know this almost sounds like internet dating and maybe not a good idea but we will get to that part.......I had been looking for about a week at different families and none of them really seemed like a good match for me and i was kinda thinking i was just going to be in Branson for one more summer. Time was getting close to when i had to sign up for Summer Work Program and if you sign up and dont do it you cant enroll for fall semester. So i really had to make a choice, trust in God and do what i want, or do the easy thing and say i will work here. So one night i couldnt sleep and i was up until 3 in the morning so i thought, this is a great time to talk to God about this. So i did. Here is how my prayer went, "God, i really dont want to stay here for the summer and i think being a nanny really sounds like fun. If you want me to do this nanny thing would you please show me what family you want me to be with in the next 1 or 2 days because if im going to do the Summer Work Program i kinda need to sign up." So i fell asleep praying and the next morning i woke up and checked my daily nanny family match. AHHHH.....it really woke me up to see these two beautiful children and their parents are camp directors!!! So all morning i was in class just thinking about this and really wanted to email them. So as soon as possible i sent them an email. Silly me couldnt wait for them to send one back one so i just called the next day, which is a good thing because i sent it to the wrong email. I talked to the father who seemed like a wonderful man and was very pleasant to talk to on the phone and we set up a phone interview. A few days later i had my interview with the mother and it was so easy to talk to her. It seemed very natural and genuine.

Ok to make the already long story shorter i KNOW this is where God wants me to be this summer. Here are the reasons why.
1. I told God what i wanted and when i wanted it and He gave it to me the next morning.
2. He couldnt have made a better match. This family seems to be like the kind of people i will want to spend my summer with.
3. I had a minimum that i needed to be payed (which was an odd amount) and it matched exactly.
4. I was trying to work out a way to go to camp and it wasnt going to work out BUT i got this instead!!

I am SO excited and cant wait to go!! I leave on my birthday, May 27. I guess that is my birthday present from God. I get back August 15. So i will have a few days at home...more than if i would stay in Branson. If i missed anything or if you have ANY questions please ask because i would love to tell you all about it. I dont remember the last time i was this excited for something!! Thank you for taking care of me God!!
